It is rare when one discovers after so many years visiting South Africa the true beauty of an amazing country. When you finally meet the people who have dedicated their life to do what is right in a challenging environment.
Helen Lieberman is one of those very special individuals who in 1963 armed with nothing but her own vision started a life changing initiative, Ikamva Labantu.
It is humbling to see and feel the power of the initiative when you are with her, walking around Khayelitsha and just grab the impact of her work with her amazing team.

We are proud we can now launch the “Stichting Ikamva Labantu Nederland”, and no other then Helen Liebermann was at the launch to further inspire people.
Our “Dutchified” approach will also look at new generations of global game changers in the Netherlands, and thus support an important paradigm shift needed in our society.
